Legends of the field. Amazing night w Elaine May and Julian Schlossberg talking “Mikey and Nicky” - arguably one of the greatest crime drama films ever made, based on her childhood.

This is the 50th Anniversary of the release of “Mikey and Nicky.” Julian famously acquired the rights to the film after its initial distribution and he re-released it in the mid 1980s, helping secure the film’s reputation as a modern canonical masterpiece.
