NYC. I got to catch A Raisin in the Sun starring the phenomenal Tonya Pinkins. A flooring production—with some incredibly acute, startling, moving and incisive choices. Go see it if you are in NYC. If you are not in NYC, go to NYC to see it;). It runs until November 20th!
EDIT: Also, Tonya penned this open letter to The New York Times. An invitation to challenging conversation and curiosity. I find it deeply moving. At a time when everyone knows everything, and it's easy to shut down & squash dialogue, and block ourselves from discomfort - it really feels like we need to be asking more questions.
